Length of Midgate Lane from Romany Cottage to The Grade - grass on both sides of the road makes driving
leading a horse/horses dangerous
The length of the grass along Midgate is making it dangerous for us to lead our mares from our home to our mare grazing paddocks on the corner of Midgate and Midgate East. The entrances to the fields on Midgate have not been cut either, so we have no idea where they are and nor do we know where the edge of the dykes start and end. I have had to purchase an amber rotating beacon for the roof of my car as I now escort the grooms leading our horses to and from the paddocks to avoid a serious accident as we nearly had 2 years ago when a vehicle (reported to the Police) overtook us at the speed limit of 60mph!

Grates sunk need attention

Some of the grates on station road sibsey are sunk and need urgent attention please stop saying it doesn't need sorting if this is not addressed and sorted l have no option but to go to the local media and tv it's a disgrace saying they don't need doing please pull your fingers out and get these grates sorted

Briar cottage
Cowbroads Lane
Hedge has been planted and is now overgrown and encroaching on the single track road, also plant pots very close to the road. This is causing vehicles to use opposite verge and is causing damage to it, also there is a visibility issue when coming from Cowbroads / Buttercake junction. This needs to be cut back

There used to be an uneven road sign as you turned onto the Hobhole Bank from Sibsey. This has disappeared and the next sign is not until Forty Foot Lane. By then you have already damaged your car.

Southfields Wheel Rut/problem

From Gride Bridge to The Bungalow Wheel ruts are a ever growing issue. The verge/edge is several cases has been removed by farm vehicles, causing danger to standard motor vehicles. Especially bad at Gride junction and between Foxridge and The Bungalow.

Large fly tip down the bank towards river and small one in layby
12th April
Whilst litterpicking the layby on the hobhole bank near the gride I noticed a large fly tip towards edge of the river and a small one in the layby it's self. Not sure how long it's even there, but seems quite a while, there are also 2 flytips at the end of the hobhole in the other layby towards the A52.

There is severe subsidence of the road in places. With one of my cars, the centre of the road is scraping on the underside of my vehicle. In my other small car, I nearly lost control of the vehicle at just 25mph due the road damage.
