Road sweeper needed
25th January
The side of the road with the even numbers has not been cleaned for months ( the odd number size has). A few months ago go there were some road works carried done outside Pecks Yard which left a lot of soil behind, this has gradually spread up the High Street towards Bridge Street. The houses here are close to the road and with the wet conditions the mud is being sprayed up the front of the houses. We have seen the road sweeper a few times but they only ever clean the other side of the road, there are no cars parked on this section of the even side so Im not sure why they dont clean this side.

Childring playing and cars driving fast.

Children are playing around the green running and cycling. Cars drive excessively fast. Can a 10mph sign be put up, speed bumps, or white road paint and signs be displayed saying SLOW CHILDREN PLAYING. or all of the above. There has been too many near misses. Kindest regards

This hedging on BOTH sides of the road and busy junction is illegal as well over 2 mtr and over hangs the public walk way making pedestrians move over to the road to pass Extremely difficult to drive safely as road vision is obscured Been like this for years no one bothers

I would like a Tree Preservation Order put on this mature Cypress

I would like a Tree Preservation Order put on this mature Cypress tree. The tree is situated in the south east corner of the allotment I rent from the council, but it it is in danger of being removed or damaged, because a neighbour says it is blocking light. It was there when she bought her property in 2014 and it is not overly tall. It is to the north of her property, which is a bungalow, which is bordered on the same side by a 6' high fence. We have witnessed many birds in the tree and also bats around the area of it when we have been at the allotment, as well as squirrels. It is a healthy tree and I would like for the tree to be protected. The allotment is registered with HM King Charles' Coronation Gardens for Food and Nature scheme in conjunction with the Wildlife Trust. The tree also provides us with shade at the allotment and is very peaceful to sit beside. Please protect this tree.
