Received 4164934 There has been some tarmac layer outside our address today which is 13 Eastern Way NE209PE. I am amazed that this is the standard of work from the council and what the council tax we pay if used for. There was no communication about this work and was noisy and very inconvenient as the van and work blocked our drive for a significant period of time. I have attached photos as the patch which have been laid seem to be lumpy and a trip hazard and I'm not sure what purpose they serve as the cure the perilous issue.

Fly tipping

Boxes and cartons left beside the glass bin in the Callerton Lane south car park. A bin is needed here as there is frequently rubbish left by users of the car park. Perhaps a sign on the glass bins reminding people not to fly tip and the address of Kirkley Thorn tip to remind people not to leave rubbish here.

Overgrown vegetation and uneven

The footpath from the cut along the main road and along to Sainsburys is hugely overgrown onto the path and also very uneven surface causing me to fall twice. Ive a walker and the surface doesnt help this. Ive injured my knee and now walking on crutches. Its even worse with crutches. Could someone come out asap and attend to the problem please?

Illegal camping

Apologies but no category for this. Illegal camping on the verge approaching Callerton Lane and the Schools in Ponteland. One tent, one horse tethered, cooking and brazier facilities in the grass next to one man tent and large water carrier. Male with grey hoody walking around the vicinity. I believe the grass verge to be County Council property. Ive noticed this for the past 3 days now since 23 May. Horse always tethered in same place.

Parking on footpaths

Every day now numerous cars are parked over the paths blocking pedestrians from walking , i have to drop down onto the road but if you have a pushchair ow wheelchair your access could be blocked . Also using the mid way crossing is dangerous due to cars being parked up on both sides of the road obscuring views of drivers coming around from Ponteland direction to Prestwick

The lady who is the owner of Stone Cottage Accomodation is parking in the middle of the road, obstructing public path crossing and is harassing/bullying members of public by talking offensive language, video recording inside cars and taking photos of them.

Overgrowth obstructing private parking bay

Earlier report of this problem once again incorrectly 'Closed' alleging the issue is not NCC responsibility. That is factually incorrect and offers no explanation why this is thought to be the case. The attached screenshot is an extract from NCC records showing the area of land in green (adjacent to nos 8 & 10) as being in NCC ownership. Furthermore, NCC has already acknowledged/accepted responsibility for this hedge by recently cutting/maintaining it, albeit unfinished and suggesting more appropriate heavy duty equipment was required to complete the work. The offending hedge is planted within NCC land and has overgrown into the private parking bay by approximately 750mm, preventing vehicles being parked fully off the carriageway. Please arrange to return and complete the job NCC started.

7578327 Overgrowth obstructing private parking bay

Reply from NCC for previous report 7578327 indicating Closed as not NCC responsibility. That statement is incorrect. I have previously provided details from NCC land records confirming the area to the back of the private parking area is indeed owned and controlled by NCC. Its boundary hedge is obstructing access.(See photos) - NCC operatives recently cut this hedge, reducing its height and overgrowth on the west side but told residents their equipment was inadequate and were unable to finish the work. Please check NCC ownership records and return to complete the job that NCC started.
