In Road opposite Number 12 Midland Road Olney. Deep Pothole in the middle of the road. Very difficult to avoid
especially when cars are parked both sides of the road.
Deep pothole opposite Number 12 Midland Road, Olney. This pothole appears to have been filled in before. However, the filling has eroded and the pothole seems to be getting deeper. It is almost in the middle of the road and almost impossible to miss most times due to vehicles parked either side of the road.

There is a vewry large pothole outside numner 9 Newton Street Olney whixh has been there for some months and it is getting bigger each week as vehicled go over it lumps fall from the side and it enlarges. It has been "White Lined" for a while, but not repaired.

Fairly deep pothole on road close to kerb

This pothole has been here for some time and is slowly expanding. Because of parked vehicles on the opposite side of the road it is difficult not to go over it. Fortunately cars are likely to be going quite slowly as they approach it and the junction. Probably of more concern is the proximity of the infant school and young children (or adults) crossing here have a high risk of tripping

Water across highway

Water constantly running across highway. Appearing worse when driving southbound on A509, very rarely clears up so must be a constant flow coming from an unknown source.
Additional grit is put down and warning signs in winter but the root cause of the issue should be found and resolved.

A batch of potholes from Whirly Pits Roundabout to Aldi Entrance
the vast majority of which meet one or more of your criteria.
These potholes have been here deteriorating over a period of at least 6 months and require repair. With the forthcoming closure of the A509 in March for utility work, this provides a golden opportunity to carry out the repairs as an urgent case and take advantage of the closure.

Redway surface over this bridge is horrendously rough!
2nd February
The surface of this redway is unacceptably rough. It looks to have been poorly laid in the first place. As I mentioned in another road surface report, I ride a full suspension recumbent trike, and the combined effects of this rough surface, and the previous one, exiting the 30mph limits of Olney and entering the 40's on this road, have resulted in hundreds of pounds of damage and excessive wear being done to my trike, which is classed as a disability aid and, as such, I will be seeking compensation for the damage done, which I have documented, and can be proven to have been caused due to these surface issues.

Terribly rough road surface leaving 30mph into 40mph limit
2nd February
This road surface has been deteriorating for years, and is at a completely unacceptable level of deterioration. I ride a full-suspension recumbent trike and, as a result of this, and the rough redway over this bridge, excessive damage has occurred to my expensive trike. I've had mirrors snap off which were made for motorcycles, and two light mounts snap, which were made for professional mountain biking!!! This is completely and utterly unacceptable and I will be seeking compensation for the damage caused, not only to these items, but to my suspension as well, which is failing after only a year of ownership!

There are several potholes on this bend. Some are directly in the best line around the bend, so that drivers are forced to choose between veering into the path of (potential) oncoming traffic or risking damage to their vehicles. These holes have been there for several months.
