On Great Barford Bridge (CBC) side opposite to footpath side of bridge
4th February
A large tree is overhanging the road and causing issues for large vehicles. One branch has already been snapped and was hanging into the road. Coaches and buses that service CBC are having to bump up the footpath to avoid damage to the vehicle which causing other concerns. The tree needs to be cut back to behind the wall as vehicles over 2 metres and higher than 2.5 meters can not use the road safely.

Traffic light phasing too quick for cyclists
17th July
When cycling from Great Barford end of the bridge to Blunham, there is insufficient time for cyclists to get across the bridge before the lights at the Blunham end change and allow traffic to move. I was first on line at the Gt Barford end and despite cycling at 20mph as soon as the lights turned green, traffic from Blunham was allowed to move just as I cleared the bridge but while still in the light controlled zone. A slower leisure cyclist or family group in a similar situation would face on coming traffic on the bridge and could result in a "jam" with vehicle traffic on the bridge coming from both directions.
