Sheep Lane
near Pinfold Pond
There has been a recent 'siding out' exercise on this section but the vegetation is growing out into the footpath and needs a heavy cut back. There's no point doing a light job as this is an annual problem, causing people to walk into the road. Or not walk at all!

Numerous Potholes
16th April
In the 100 yds either side of this a-bend there are numerous (30+) potholes. The biggest are now feet long, 18-20 inches wide and several inches deep. They are big enough to interfere with cars stability, particularly as there is lots of gravel from the excavated potholes on the road. This section of road has damaged vehicles in the recent past. It is clear that this whole section needs a thorough resurface, as more pothole repairs will just be excavated through hydraulic action the next time it rains.

Between Sheep Lane and Leighton Road - (51.9800229
-0.6381297)
There is a small section of this road where the road surface is terrible. In probably a 20 second span, I counted at least 45 pot holes on one side of the road. Its extremely dangerous. You either need to drive on the curb, in a pot hole or over solid double white lines into incoming traffic around a bend.

30+ potholes
1st April
There are now 30-35 potholes through this section of S-bend and up to 100 yards either side of the bends in both directions. These potholes vary in size from 4-6 inches to several feet across. Several are quite deep. They are also difficult to avoid for this travelling this road for the first time, are in the natural driving line through the corners risking destabilising cars going through the bends. As this area caused damage to my vehicle in January, I am surprised that the apparently routine surveying of this road has not already picked up this increasingly dangerous section of road. I have recently had a vehicle cross the centreline to avoid a pothole on their side of the road, risking a head on collision. This section of road needs a thorough resurfacing.

Above number 40 Pinfold Pond MK17 9PW on hill area
31st March
Directly above the driveway and the house of number 40 there is a large hill. On this hill there are multiple trees on this hill some of which are leaning quite heavily toward the house, want to confirm they are safe and not in any danger of coming down, as a few branches do occasionally fall onto the driveway where there are cars etc

Road between Flying Fox and Leighton Street
25th March
I would not usually report a road more than once but this is an exception. A section of the road has many, many potholes. It is bad and becoming worse each week. I see that your site says roadworks for " Mon Jun 09 until Wed Jun 11 2025" but I am unsure whether the road will last that long.

The ‘S’ bend at the top of the hill between Woburn and the Flying Fox
25th March
A series of large pot holes on both sides of the road, starting approximately 500 metres before the S bends in both directions. Has been getting worse for a while forcing cars to swerve to avoid them and leaving loose gravel on the carriageway

Serious potholes on a dangerous stretch of road - these need urgent attention as there is a high risk to life from vehicles swerving to avoid the holes on blind corners
