Dangerous dip in road
26th May
Dear fix my street team
Several of my residents have contacted me regarding their journey back from Twickenham via the A316 where their vehicles are hitting a major dip in the road where the A316 ends and turns into the M3.
Please can we get this fixed before a nasty accident takes place if people are not aware that it is there.
Your assistance on this issue would be appreciated.
Kind regards Cllr Harry Boparai

A vehicle has deliberately parked in my private allocated bay
10th May
The car was initially not taxed and had been parked in my bay since Ramadan. No one has returned for it. All the bays ante allocated and the car park is full . This has left me with nowhere to park. These kind of cars are being dumped by traders and kept here until they are ready to sell. Its a business purpose. They dont live here and have no reason to park lawfully. They have not asked permission but rather drove into a private gated cared cap park in the day whilst people are at work and parked cars and gone. Parking bay plot 7 is for my apartment 3, 1 Appleton street.

Ongoing Problem of Abandoned Vehicles at Johnsons Square
M40 7QW
Dear Manchester Council, I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding the growing issue of abandoned vehicles at Johnsons Square, Manchester M40 7QW, which appears to be directly linked to the operations of a nearby car repair workshop.
Over recent months, residents have observed an increasing number of vehicles being left on the street for extended periods, many of which are clearly not roadworthy. These cars often take up valuable parking spaces, block access routes, and contribute to a general sense of neglect in the area. In some cases, vehicles are left with flat tyres, missing parts, or without proper registration platesposing both a safety hazard and an eyesore.
It is widely believed by local residents that a nearby car repair business is using public streets in Johnsons Square as overflow storage for vehicles they are working on or no longer need. This practice not only clutters the neighbourhood but also disrupts daily life for residents who are struggling to find parking or safely navigate the area.
Despite previous informal complaints, the issue has persisted and appears to be worsening. We are asking that the relevant authorities investigate this matter urgently and take enforcement action where necessary. The continued presence of these abandoned or unlicensed vehicles is unacceptable and undermines the quality of life in our community.
We respectfully request:
An inspection of the affected area.
Clarification on whether the car repair workshop is permitted to store vehicles on the public highway.
Prompt removal of vehicles deemed abandoned.
Long-term measures to prevent further abuse of public space in this manner.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your support in resolving this ongoing problem.
Yours sincerely

Loose Tiles - woman in her 60s fell & i have almost tripped over the same patch of loose tiles
24th April
Loose tiles have been there for months now. I have almost gone flying a few times on the same patch but on my way home from work I witnessed an older woman fall in that exact spot and could be heard saying it was the tiles. These are too close to a road with Double decker buses driving past every few seconds.
