Bridge Wobbles

When you walk along the bridge, you can feel that there is a slight wobble. I have become increasingly worried about the safety of this as the wobble has become bigger over time. I feel as though when I walk across it I need to stabilise myself. It has become a terrifying walk, especially given how high up and how long the bridge is. Could the integrity of the bridge please be checked out and if completely safe could the local community be notified about this so that some of us who have problems with our stability and fear of heights become willing to cross the bridge again. There is a beautiful country park on the other side of it that used to be a favourite location of mine. The bridge crosses the M60 connecting the two parts of The Moss in Wardley/Swinton. Thank you very much.

Potholes

There are potholes developing where the Westbound M61 and the A666 (M) converge. This has been previously report by another motorist in December2024 but ignored.
I went over them yesterday and it has cracked my alloy wheel, which I will claim for in due course. They are dangerous in my view.

The tunnel wall is crumbling

The right hand side of the tunnel wall, as you face Manchester with the train track to your right, is crumbling in large amounts, exposing the interior metal rod strengthener, this is occurring in several places, right across the wall and is severe in some places. This appears to be getting worse each week.

Series of potholes at road convergence

Hi, a series of potholes are opening up at the convergence between the M61 and A666 northbound.
This previously happened in 2023 (see Ref: 22649443 NHHC:[phone removed]) and they got quite bad.
This year they are not yet as bad, but are worsening each day I travel over them. Would it be possible to be proactive and fix these before any further cold weather worsens them?

Large number of lights at extremely busy and dangerous interchange where traffic from M60 joins M61/A666 junctions consistently not working. given the volume and speed of the traffic at this interchange not having provision of street lighting is extreemly dangerous

Left trailer
14th November
I was pulling a trailer with my minibus when it developed a tyre blow out. As it was dark and I had no spare, I have had to leave by the road side. To avoid it being an obstruction, I had pushed it over the barrier and left it upside down. I will find time to return to.collect and have the tyre replaced. I have left the number plate so it can be traced to me. I am sure it is between j14-j15.

Netting on middle motorway bridge

A large number of pigeons have been tangled in the netting under the middle motorway bridge on Manchester Road walkden under the m60 bridges, I have a video, there are also a number of pigeons still alive that need help getting out before they also get tangled and die a slow and painfully cruel death hanging upset down please can you let me know who I contact to get help for them.

Slip roads lighting needs some maintenance

Hi, The the slip road where the M60 joins the A580 eastwards needs some attention as every street light doesn't work. Some of the lighting was removed around this area a while ago but some remain. Seeing as there still there, It makes sense to fix and use them.
