There is an ongoing litter issue in my street, especially with cigarette buds and papers coffee cups being left in the concrete flowers beds and accumulating in the gutters near the cars. I live on Hawthorne Crescent, at the top of Hazel lane. Its a busy area so the street and pavements need sweeping on a more regular basis. Enough isnt being done to keep the area clean. More bins should perhaps also be made available so people passing through the street dont drop their mess.
