Pavement in front of The Trinity Pub (202-206 Borough High Street) - health and safety risk for customers and general pedestrian
29th May
Pavement is loose and uneven - when you step on one side, the other side raises and you can easily trip. We have already had instances of people falling from it and we wanted to raise this as a matter of urgency to prevent our customers and general public from this hazard. It has been there since several months so I hope someone can fix it. Thanks for your time.

Outside the health centre there's a large depression in the road where it has sunk, this causes a hazard to cyclists either hitting it or trying to avoid it and clashing with other traffic.

The emergency gate on Coxson Way has been kept open for quite sometime. It seems that this access is being use as a road/shortcut in and out. There have been few 'near missed' with people crossing the pavement or cars taking a left coming out toward the one way street on Tanner and Druid street

Blocked gulley
28th May
This gulley has been blocked so long and so completely that it is now full to the brim with debris - see photo. This causes local ponding in even light rain and consequent spray to pedestrians passing along a busy pavement. This gulley is outside 106 Aldersgate Street and is a different blocked gulley from that previously reported by me 100 yards further N on Goswell Road. Both these blocked gulleys have be inoperable for many years and both have been the subject of repeated reports by me and others. It is not clear whether City of London or LB Islington is responsioble for these as both authorities deny reponsibility and are playing pass the parcel. The adjacent steet name signage suggests it is in Islington, but they consider it to be a City matter. Somebody needs to break through this petty administrative turf war and deal with the issue. Failure to do so over a long period of time reflects badly on both authorities.

Flooding and spray over pedestrians due to blocked gully
27th May
This gulley has been blocked for YEARS and the City of London and LB Islington are playing pass the parcel over fixing it. There is severe flooding and pedestrians are getting soaked with filthy water. The length of the problem has be clearly seen in my photo taken today, which show verdigris on the pavement adjoining from constant water sprays. It is not clear to me whether this is a responsibility of Islington or the City but somebody needs to pick it up. A few months ago the gulley was coned off and three men spent three hours 'investigating' it but nothing was done to fix the problem. I have previously reported this on Islington's street website and been told it is not their issue. I also got the support of the Islington ward councillor for the address on the other side of the street in support, but nothing happened. For the avoidance of doubt my address is in the City. The gulley may or may not be in the City. I have been told that there is an agreement between the Islington and the City about who maintains various parts of this A-road, but I am getting rebuffed by both.
