The hedgerow is overgrown where the barriers are at the end of the footpath between Louie's Lane and Scholars Walk. This is causing access issues for people in mobility scooters and they are unable to turn to get around the barriers without going in to the brambles.

Water collecting

At the pedestrian crossing outside Hughes the water collects into large puddles on the opposite side of crossing. There does not seem to be any drainage. Difficult to navigate without getting wet feet.

Domestic hedges obstructing pavement

The hedge of two properties, immediately opposite the Swim Centre and near a pedestrian crossing, have grown and encroached so much that there is almost no public footpath available, only the cycle way. This has become even worse with spring growth, though it has been there for months.

Six or more refuse bins blocking footpath.
22nd April
Numbers 9 & 10 Mount Street in Diss are leaving their refuse and recycling bins off their properties. They are left at the entrance to the footpath between Mount Street and Shelfanger Road, and are causing an obstruction, particularly for prams, mobility aids etc.
Please can the owners of these properties be asked to keep their bins on their properties and away from the footpath.

Pelican crossing switch inoperative
10th April
On the Right side of the pelican crossing going from Diss town Center over to Morrisons the crossing request button doesnt work, have to use the left side button. People dont realise this and get impatient and cross over in between the traffic which is dangerous. Switch possibly required replacing.
Several led lights are out also.

Lamp posts in need of painting
28th March
There are a total of 8 Old Fashioned lamp post in or around the heritage triangle in Diss which are in need of repainting. It would be nice if these could be repainted before the tourist season begins. The ones shown rear of the Royal maim offices. It will not be hard to find all the others. Fell include the one just out side the triangle free to contact me if you need the photos of the others. Also included is a photo of the pedestrian crossing at the top of St Nicolas street which was repainted last time I asked for some lamp post to be done. You can see it was done but not very well as it now needs the reflected white strips to be replaced. This I believe should be done as this is s health and safety matter at night.
