The hedge as you can see causes pedestrians to walk on the grass and causes mobility scooters and prams the problem of uneven ground. It is in quite a busy area next to the pedestrian crossing and bus stop.

Large Pothole and metal cover
20th April
This pot hole and Metal cover has had the tarmac broken for at least 18 mths to 2 yrs. It is exactly where the nearside wheels of vehicles pass constantly. Lorries, buses, cars. It has steadily been getting deeper over time. Every vehicle that passes over it drops into the hole and it must be damaging cars etc. How cyclists manage is another frustration. They must swerve to miss it. Harrogate Road is a very busy through road to the Supermarket, school and houses. This pot hole is right by the lower traffic lights on Harrogate Road. Junction Moorside Dale and Quarry Moor lane. The road narrows at this point and a Keep Left sign is in the centre of road limiting any avoiding movement.

Give way sign and solid line on junction needed
10th February
We have witnessed so many near misses with cars flying out of this junction onto Whitcliffe Lane. There needs to be a solid white line and a give way sign to draw drivers' attention to their need to stop. It is ever since the new properties were built and it is very dangerous.

Mud on the whole of whitcliffe lane
10th February
The site traffic from West Lane is using Whitcliffe Lane and is creating significant amounts of mud on the whole of the lane. It is slippy and dangerous. It is now damaging cars as it flies up and also it is creating dirty windows etc. We have asked them politely and all they do is get a road sweeper which just moves it into the gutters on which is then transferred onto driveways.

Overflowing Bins
6th February
Two bins seen to be overflowing yesterday evening. These are large bins and as such it is difficult to understand how they are allowed to overflow in this manner.
We try to attract tourism and business to our beautiful city but are let down time and time again by poor public services.

Several potholes along hedge side
3rd February
Several potholes have opened up along the hedge side on West View/Littlethorpe lane. When cars are parked outside the houses it makes these difficult to avoid and as large vehicles go over them is causing excess noise in the neighbouring houses.

Common parking land taken by individuals
4th December
This piece of land on Low Mill Road Ripon (opposite the flats) has always been for anyone to park on and suddenly this year two individuals decided to put bollards up and claim it as their own. At one end someone has a large trough holding wood and pallets and a bollard and the other the owner of the bungalow has put up bollards and parked cars and trucks on from his garage business. We are struggling for safe parking in this area and as such all the cars have been forced to park on the road causing obstructions.

Car blocking the pull in too close to junction
4th December
Both roads that meet on the corner have parked cars right down one side. The car mentioned stops cars or van getting out of the way of traffic coming around the corner as they are on the wrong side of the road by the time they reach the corner due to how this car is parked near the junction. At school home time this road comes to a standstill with cars mounting the pavement to try and move out of the way as the traffic coming to the corner does not know whether cars are coming until they reach the corner and then they have no way of getting out of each others way. This is an accident waiting to happen.
