Road Subsiding
29th November
The road is sinking for want of a better description.
There is a noticeable dip in the centre of the road, although it is slightly worse if you are heading south, to the extent that locals will drive on the opposite side of the road to try and avoid it. Given that work is being undertaken on Greenhow Hill atm, it may be in the best interest of the highways surveyor to take a look at it.

Dangerous road surface
11th May
The southbound carriageway of the road has a large area which seems to have subsided. I'm not sure what the problem is but it's more than a pothole. It is dangerous to drive over it and if you hit it at normal speed it feels that it could damage the car. The car behind me obviously knew about it as he drove around it but you cannot do this if there is any traffic coming in the opposite direction.

Deep hole where road has sunk after recent resurfacing
9th June
Hit this hole at approx 35mph and it caused the suspension to hit maximum creating a large thud. I had stop to see if any damage had been done to the suspension and wheel. A cyclist could well be thrown off their bike if they hit this.

Subsidence returned
11th September
Where previous work to subsidence and potholes was carried out, the new tarmac has bowed and left deep ruts, like smooth potholes. Across most of southbound lane and across centre line. The deep channel causes the excessive drop like driving in to a kerb. It has already knocked my tracking out a day after having it done.
