Pot hole on speed ramp
2nd May
There is a massive pot hole on the speed bump. When the car goes up on to speed bump the tyre/wheel goes in hole and the bottom of car catches. Needs urgent attention. All the speed bumps along this road need attention again! This is due to the massive heavy lorries going to and from Harrogate Water plant. Get them to pay for the repairs and maintenance.

Roads thick with mulch
11th February
A road sweeper came down the middle of the road other day but didnt clear away the packed mulch from either side of the road which has been there for months. Its several inches thick in some places and is blocking drains. There were gaps where cars werent parked but they didnt bother to sweep those areas regardless.

Large pothole has appeared in the last few days right in the middle.
3rd February
This road has become increasingly busy due to the road closure on York Place and the diversion being in place. People are naturally finding other routes and this pothole has appeared and is quite deep. Sometimes cannot avoid it because of where it is and because of parked cars. Please fill asap.

Leaves - whole of Rutland Drive
12th December
There has been recent leaf cleaning of roads and pavements around the Duchy Estate but for some reason they have not touched the whole of Rutland Drive, it is a mess and there are piles of leaves around the place. Not sure why this street has been neglected by the council?

Noisy street cleaner
30th November
I want to complain about the horrendous noise made by a street cleaning machine before 0700 today Saturday 30 November 2024. This has woken up a whole neighbourhood and the noise has now continued for over an hour. The machine came down our street 4 times, twice each way and was a complete waste of time as parked cars lined the street. The machine would not be allowed in an industrial setting as it would break noise regulations. People round here work hard all week and dont deserve their rest disturbed like this. I am sure your driver will be filing a deafness claim before long.

Vehicle obstructing road to passing traffic
19th August
Vehicle was parked in narrow section of road in such a way that other vehicles could not pass. Driver refused to move and only way to pass was to mount kerb. After several minutes and a number of vehicles struggling to get past, driver eventually moved off. If road is too narrow for parking at this location, then should be made no parking or waiting and enforced.
