Parking on Westburn Avenue
14th November
Despite plenty of car parking in the Falkirk Community Hospital car park, motorists are regularly parking directly on the very bust Westburn Avenue. I enclose a photo of typical parking directly opposite the entrance to my house in Carmel Gardens making it virtually impossible for all residents of Carmel Gardens to exit onto Westburn Ave due to drivers parking directly in front of our junction access road which can mean us waiting for considerable lengths of time before we have a chance to exit or enter due to lots of traffic from both directions queing behind these parked cars as only two cars can pass when there is no parking on Westburn, and only one when they park there. This is very dangerous and an accident waiting to happen, not to mention downright selfish and frustrating. Some form of parking restrictions, ( yellow lines), are urgently required before someone gets seriously injured. Please respond at your very earliest convenience. Thank you, RG Hendry.

Crumbling road surface
30th December
The surface of the road in Woodlands Crescent is breaking up and is very rough, which if not sorted is likely to become many pot holes this Winter.
View on FixMyStreet
Hillhead Drive has probably 7 major potholes of 25cms or more on the main road surface
also there are many edges breaking down against the gutters. The total road surface has lost its surface in many areas leading to dangerous driving in winter conditions. A visit by a roads engineer is required urgently.
Hillhead Drive's road surface has been deteriorating and ignored for many years by FDC. We now have many potholes approx 250cms or greater on the road surface, The road edges to gutter are breaking down and are becoming potholes. In general the road surface has lost much of the top layer and is now showing signs of breaking up. I would stongly suggest a visit by an appropriate road engineer is called for.
