Dead Fox

There is a dead fox and its really making me upset seeing it everyday, its still in tact, but its facing our way. My kids are really upset by seeing it please could we try and dispose of this? Thank you so much , your work is always appreciated

Multiple lights not working Bean Lane
7th March
Multiple lights not working Bean Lane (Hope Cottages). No power to air quality monitor operated by Dartford BC. Kent Highways have advised that the lighting in this area come under a section 278 and they are not responsible.
Power has been out since 29/01/25

Overhead signage on road approach from Bluewater missing since junction works a year ago.
20th February
Junction works for the Bean interchange were completed over a year ago, but over road signage in 3 locations on B255 has never been replaced. Metal frames to hold signage and lane directions have been installed over the road, but no signage ever put back in. There are 3 sets of large overhead signs missing, which were reconstructed as part of the Bean interchange National Highways works completed a year ago.

2 pothole in the first lane of the a2 just after the merry chest sliproad going coast bound. these potholes are relatively close to each other and are quite large, considering the road was fully resurfaced not long ago.

Large number of streetlights not working on the A2 at Swanscombe cutting but also beyond patches of road all the way past the Medway bridge .

I raised this issue back in November 2023.
I received an update that the LED replacement programme was in the design stage and the work should be completed by the end of 2024.
Well it's 2025 now so I wondered what the progress was?
It's such a busy stretch of road the swans come cutting that functioning lights are really needed in my view

Brand new lights were put in across the a2 network between gravesend and bluewater, now half of them dont even work. its pitch black driving along there and becomes dangerous.

The traffic light system doesn't work
15th October
The new roundabout at bluewater the traffic light system is set up wrong. They cause a back up onto the A2. The traffic coming up from bluewater will go and this cause a red light on the roundabout. As our lights are green we can only get 2 or 3 cars on and I causes congestion. The best the roundabout has flowed for everyone is when the lights were down there was no congestion.

SGN made a mess of the road
25th April
SGN worked here recently and dug up the road/pavement, its an utter mess/ eye sore, the road name sign had been left laying on the verge. The grass has been covered with soil, the road has multiple potholes right up to where the houses are, why has it been left in this state?

Dead Fox

There is a dead fox on the left side on the A2 leading to Bexleyheath when exiting Bluewater. It is not a pleasant sight so can you pick up the fox ASAP.

Multiple pot holes
3rd lane approaching A2 Bean from Pepperhill
There are multiple deep pot holes from the top of Pepperhill in the 3rd lane through to just past the Bean turnoff in patches. Looks like in some places that concrete has been poured in the worst holes. These holes have been there for a year or more. I refuse to drive in this lane now as it is impossible to avoid them. Frustrating that resurface work to the A2 has taken place after the Bean turn off and not before it where it was needed the most.
