Hazardous and Unauthorised Advertising Vehicle in Bexleyheath/Dartford
13th May
I am writing to formally report a serious safety concern regarding a vehicle that has been repeatedly parked in the middle of busy roads in the Bexleyheath and Dartford area. The vehicle in question is topped with a large and elevated board advertising Maths and Science tuition services for a fee.
Most recently, I encountered this vehicle parked directly on the road (London Road) in a high-traffic area. The size and positioning of the advertising board were extremely distracting. As I tried to manoeuvre around the parked car, I was momentarily distracted by the signage and nearly collided with an oncoming vehicle. This situation poses a serious risk to road users and public safety.
This same company appears to be expanding their unauthorised advertising presence. Their signs are now not only in residential front gardens but also significantly larger and more numerous, often placed in highly inappropriate locations including near the site of a tragic recent road accident involving a young girl. The use of such locations for profit-driven advertising is, in my view, deeply insensitive and irresponsible.
I am concerned that this type of mobile and stationary roadside advertising is not only unauthorised but in clear violation of safety regulations. I urge the council to investigate this matter and take appropriate enforcement action to prevent future risks and ensure public safety.

Horses left in field daily
12th May
Horses are being left daily in the field by the allotments on Crayford way. The public park is now unable to be used by anyone else. The owners when there are extremely unapproachable or bothered. The horses the other night bolted down the field and out into crayford way and the road. This was lucky not to cause a terrible accident and is highly likely to next time. This happens every day now.

3 sunken utility access points causing damage to the road surface
12th May
These have sunken to such a level that when the traffic passes over them it causes noise from the vehicles and creates a vibration so bad that the floor and radiators in the house vibrate and photos/ornaments shake. The vibration is caused by the larger vehicles, such as supermarket lorries and is far worse at night when the traffic is lighter so they travel at a higher speed. Moving over the defect causes the lorries to rattle and the wheels to 'bang'. Such is the dip, that the weight of the lorry causes a really strong vibration in my home. Crockery/glasses in my cupboards rattle, anything on the walls wobble, the radiators rattle and there is a noticeable vibrations in the floor/walls strong enough to make the beds vibrates during the night. This is having a huge impact on my family's ability to get a good night sleep. My 5 year old Grandson lives with us and the vibrations can be so strong (depending on the speed of the vehicle) that it causes him distress and he often wakes in the night because the noise/vibrations have scared him. I worry that this could be causing damage to the structure of my property such is the level of the constant vibrations felt throughout the home. The problem is situated on the left hand side of London Road (when travelling towards the Bourne Road roundabout), just before the roundabout/Bourne Road left turn exit.
