Ford on Dingle lane off hunters Road
8th May
Water level is slowly rising although we have had no rain. It looks like some kind of blockage that is stopping the ford and subsequent streams from flowing/draining. It is impossible to pass without a 4x4.

The War Memorial Lay-by on Prince Hill
London Road (A51)
Bricks and other construction materials have been scattered along the verge of the lay-by together with an old suitcase, bags of unspecified refuse and many empty alcohol cans. (See first two photos). Together with local residents, we have collected it, conducted a litter pick and made the lay-by as safe as possible prior to collection.

Very large and mature Oak Tree with large branches that are growing and overhanging the school boundary. These branches (large and small) are snapping and dropping off onto the school Adventure Play Area, especially when it is windy. Require cutting back!

Yew Tree Lane between Easterly and Yew Tree House
7th December
Potholes along this lane have been here for over two months. They are getting deeper and wider as they merge together from daily heavy farm vehicles and general traffic use. They are becoming dangerous due to their depth both to motorists and paedestrians alike. A proper repair is needed, loose tarmac only washes out.

Junction of Checkley Lane and A51
20th November
Sheet ice. I had to take several run-ups in order to get to the main A51 carriageway due to sheet ice from other traffic compacting the snow from overnight. Sunshine on the surface has made it even more slippery.
This is extremely dangerous as I needed to be moving when I reached the A51 in order to get across, and couldn't see the traffic approaching on the main road at speed until the last second. I had 2 aborted attempts before I got across (with a queue of vehicles behind me).
There's also sheet ice on the other side (Bridgemere Lane) which as it is downhill makes it very hazardous to stop for the junction with the main road.

Drains
12th August
This is a pit/culvert on the verge of the A51 outside Flash Farm House CW3 9RH. This was constructed by SCC in 2013. The culvert is filling up with weeds and silt and loose stones, likely to compromise the outflow of water through the drainage system recently completely renovated by Cheshire who are responsible for the maintenance of the drain away from the pit/culvert. SCC are well aware of this, through complaints to the Woore Parish Council, and the local County Councillor. Complaints about this culvert have been ongoing for at least 2 years without any response or action from SCC. A current photo is attached.

Three large green bags have been tipped onto the verge (probably over the weekend). It appears to be garden waste as one (green) bag has torn but the other two are still intact.

Bridgemere Crossroads / Checkley Lane
15th July
When we attempt to pull out of Checkley Lane onto the A51 the speed of the traffic coming from Nantwich towards Bridgemere is often ridiculous. Traffic is travelling over a faded SLOW sign at speed with no attempt to slow for the crossroads. I recently attempted to pull out and a motorbike was on the wrong side of the double white lines overtaking a car. As at the Boars Head area this stretch of road really must be slowed down please and urgently. Too many accidents on the A51 from this junction through to Bridgemere/Woore area.
