Stile leading to footpath
16th June
Can the hedge and weeds be trimmed back as they are obscuring the stile to the footpath off Newcastle Road. We use it regularly and are struggling to lift our dog over the stile due to the overgrown hedge.

THIS HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR THE 2ND TIME WITH NO REASON, WHY?
Why has this original report been closed as resolved? This work has NOT been completed. The drain is still blocked, causing water that has accumulated from the side street and the Oak tree to run down Broomhall Drive and into driveways instead of being caught in the corner.

The hedge has extremely overgrown on to the pavement. This presents an issue when there is a lot of footfall during school drop off and pick up times. If two people need to pass they cant and it forces someone into the road. Invariably there are cars parked there. It just needs the homeowner to cut back the hedge back to its boundary

Something needs to be done like with other junctions on the same road.

There is a large tipping of mixed materials (paint pots, tyres, DIY debris, settee cushion etc) in yellow builders bags. There are wide verges here by the gate entrances and the bags are partially obscured by the vegetation.

There are nettles growing on the verge along Rope Lane behind the bus shelter which are blocking access to the Medical Centre's Water Meter. I work for the Landlord of the Medical Centre and have checked Land Registry and initially contacted National Highways as I believed the land to be under their ownership, they have advised that it is under your management. I have attached a picture of the water meter (this is from an inspection of mine prior to the tenant reporting nettles growing over, just to show the area). The issue has been present for over a month.
