Every single drain is now blocked along this stretch of road. The water runs straight down Morton Road hill and has nowhere to go, its then floods Queens Park drive including the entrance to the park and the driveways opposite. It flood both sides so everyone gets splashed by passing cars who cant avoid it. This is a busy stretch of road with children going to the school on Morton Road and many people visiting the park including children and the elderly who then struggle to to access the park though this gate residents also struggle with foods outside their driveway.

Obscured Traffic light for pedestrian crossing WEST STREET CREWE

The left hand traffic light as you look toward Crewe with Morrisons' Daily on your left is almost totally hidden by the overgrown tree. Look carefully at the photograph. It is called spot the light. There is an accident waiting to happen as when the lights change to red the pedestrians would expect the traffic to stop. However, if the drivers cannot see the light then the inevitable is going to happen.

Someone from the council called round about a year ago to advise that a tag had been put on the tree and booked works to be carried out tag number 3436 to reduce the overall size of the tree and cut back excessive branches. This trees height clearance is again lower than 5.2 metres over the road and lower than 2.5 metres over the footway and is again now blocking the street lighting, please advise when the works will be carried out.
