On junction with wrinehill road
15th May
Pot hole about the size of a dinner plate and at least an inch deep. Progressing to be big bump for passing vehicles having to avoid the cars parked opposite the junction & to avoid oncoming traffic on the wrong side of the road.
There is also a smaller hole just along from this about 4m or so that is the size of a small plate, equally deep.

Outside entrance to the freshfields farm/hough manor. Newcastle Road. Hough.
14th May
The road outside freshfield's farm/hough manor has deep potholes and uneven surface. This is highly dangerous and have witnessed a near accident with a motorcyclist today which was very concerning. We can also feel the vibrations from the road with the ongoing traffic going over the holes. Please can this be dealt with as a matter of urgency.

The grass areas either side of and opposite Edwards Close
12th May
The grass areas and verges have not been cut this year yet, its like the area has been abandoned. There are large weeds now growing all over and the area generally looks a mess. The grass is so long and weeds so big that dogs or children can't use these public spaces. The village is known for being neat and tidy and it feels like it's been forgotten about. It would be great if this could please be rectified.

As previously reported
on Rope Lane not far from Vine public house
This gully/drain has been reported before, namely last winter when I came to cross the road and nearly slipped on ice on the pavement due to both drains being full, overflowing onto the road, cars splashing the water onto the pavement and if then freezing. on both sides of the road. These two drains are now completely silted up and need water jetting through them before autumn and before rain begins. I found this out because I checked recently and you could see a lot of soil and maybe litter

Rumble strips
12th May
As I appreciate the rubble strips are to make road users slow down, I had the horrific experience of riding over these on my motorcycle. They are far too high. Even at slow speeds on a motorcycle it unsettles the front of the bike and I was very close to falling off. They are dangerous and need fixing before someone gets hurt.

Grass verges have not been cut this year and look unsightly, when are they cutting them and are they going to take the cuttings away or leave them and let it look a mess. also the edges of the road have grass growing in them I have live here for 39 years and have never seen it this bad. Why do I bother to at council tax when I never get anything in return

Adjacent to Newcastle road and the path that leads onto the Persimmon Estate
7th May
The black general public bin that has been stationed there for many years has gone missing last week. There's a dog bin adjacent to this but because the Persimmon site hasn't been adopted you don't empty this and Persimmon very rarely empty it either and it overflows, now with the missing black bin it's compounded the issue. If it's been moved please return it or if stolen please replace asap, thank you

Cheshire east is the problem
7th May
Due to this, currently funnelling triple the amount of traffic down now a single lane part of main road. Seriously dangerous currently ANY PEDESTRIANS HIT ARE SQUARELY ON CHESHIRE EAST's SHOULDERS DUE TO DELAYS.
We have seen a huge increase (yet again) in Main Road traffic since the road works commenced in February with Newcastle road closed in one direction, they should have been finished 1st of April, it was moved to 1st of May and it was moved again yesterday to a completion date of 1st of June with absolutely no progress being made on the roadworks during this period.
With the closures of Newcastle road & Crewe Road over the past 12 months, Main road has had a massive influx of traffic, making it far more dangerous for pedestrians and children... there's a primary school, a high school, tight pavements, no road markings and I know a child was knocked off their bicycle recently. Also the road has a number of potholes, far more than we've had before due to this.

Hedge that separates Lime Tree Mews from the public footpath
6th May
A substantial part of the hedge has fallen into the public footpath making it unusable for wheelchairs and pushchairs without going onto a tiny bit of verge between the fallen hedge and the road. Also the entire hedge needs to be cut back as the footpath has been greatly narrowed by the hedge encroachment between Lime Tree Mews ( opposite The Vineyard ) and 11 Rope Lane
