Almost the entire length of this road is uneven
5th June
As Cheshire East Council clearly has no desire to repair the length of this road, please erect signs saying "Warning - Uneven Surface" to warn drivers who don't know that this road is covered in potholes, uneven areas, and general lack of maintenance. It's simply not possible to drive at 30mph along certain stretches without incurring potential damage to shock absorbers.

Traffic lights are overgrown by vegetation both sides of the bridge so the sensors do not detect cyclists who then try and peer round the bend. Additionally the time on green fails to give a slower cyclist time to get through the tunnel before the opposing traffic is released.
4th June
The situation is becoming extremely dangerous. The hedges on both sides of the tunnel have not been trimmed for at least two years. I have two very close passes by cars who cannot use the full width of the carriageway. Coupled with the potholes which extend for at least 400 metres towards haslington and at least 150 metres towards Crewe make this a road waiting for a death. Ridiculously dangerous. Outrageous road surface.
