Resident parking on Wallworths Bank

We would like the street to be considered for resident only parking please. Parking for residents of the street has become impossible, due to the takeaways on lawton street residents there are blocking all parking for us from 4pm onwards. By the time we get home from work our road is like a carpark. My husband needs to be able to park his work van in view of our ring doorbell for security but this has become virtually impossible. There has been a lane restriction all week during cable laying works which were completed Friday the barriers were set aside by the contractor but the cones closing the lane are still in place This has caused traffic congestion going out as far as Barn Road its bad enough when the work is being carried out but when there is NO need for the closure it infuriates people. CEC Highways have a duty of care to residents but dont give a damn, happy to sit on their backsides and let things flow this is just another of hundreds of example where traffic congestion has inconvenienced people burning fuel and adding additional pollution to the town People are sick to death of this incompetent bunch of useless clowns

A temporary warning sign of skid risk is obstructing the pavement is contradiction of Traffic Safety Measures and Signs for Road Works and Temporary Situations chap 4 With the restriction being less than 1.5m This has been reported already and apparently inspected as being not a danger to highway users
Firstly Why is the sign required as there is no skid risk Second the restriction to pavement is dangerous to wheelchair users
