Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse

Salt has been produced in Cheshire for over 2,000 years and it is the only place in Britain where it is still produced on a large scale. The original museum was established by Thomas Ward & John Brunner two local salt proprietors who felt that Northwich needed something to explain it's importance as the 'salt capital of the world'.

Arley Hall and Gardens

Nether Alderley Mill

A century plus of motoring history and memorabilia, housed in a famous 1930's Art Deco building and situated 6 miles east of Chester, Cheshire. The first replica garage was built to coincide with the Chester Vintage Enthusiasts Club use of the site for driving tests and this led to the opening of a Museum.

The Staffordshire Hoard
