Numerous potholes along this stretch of road, this is an accident waiting to happen, cyclists would not see any of them when its raining & their water filled! Watch out motorists, damage to your car tyres / wheels etc easily done. SMBC need to take a look at the numerous reports about this.

Danger of mud and vehicles parked on high speed road

For the past few weeks I have observed very inconsiderate and dangerous parking on a stretch of Berkswell Road opposite Wad Barn House. On two specific occasions I have witnessed near misses involving cars travelling at speed past this spot, and I fear that an accident will happen soon. I commute past this spot most days and it seems that everyday there are various vehicles, mainly taxis which congregate in the gateway of one of the fields or park half on the grass verge, creating a pinch point in the road just past a bend with limited vision. This is often during rush hour, where visibility is poor due to the lack of daylight. Because the taxis are driving on and off the verges, and in and out of the field gateway, they are trafficking copious amounts of mud onto a really dangerous part of the road. Ive attached pictures to try to illustrate my concerns. The photos show two vehicles. This was one of the few times I was a passenger in the car and was able to take some pictures. But usually there are many more vehicle around this gateway. In the past weeks I have regularly seen 5 or 6 double parked along this country lane and I cannot fathom why they would use such a dangerous place to park.
