Shopping trolley in Shottery Brook is blocking the flow and creating a new bank
9th May
This shopping trolley has been in Shottery Brook for months (more than a year). I have reported it several times, but it remains there. As the brook has flooded and receded the trolley has trapped branches, weeds, rubbish and silt. It is now almost completely covered. It needs removing while the water level is low and it is accessible. I have been redirected to various agencies but the trolley remains.

Black
old style dustbin has been left in small wooded walk through. It is filled with rubbish and dog poo bags and is lying on its side.
This has been here for some time. It is quite disgusting. I have reported it previously but its still there. Its not difficult to locate if you walk through the natural footpath, beside Shottery Brook, from the Drayton Close dead end to Meadow Close. The whole bin needs removing.

Triple beep alarm been going off for 4 days

There is an alarm going off intermittently for 4 days. It is a high pitched beep that is three beeps at once. Cant identify the house or car but keeping residents nearby awake

Trip hazard on kerb and broken up pavement

The tarmac in front of our house is breaking up and especially by the kerb. After heavy rain more of the stones underneath the tarmac are being washed away and the area is breaking up further.

Loose gravel surface
24th April
The whole length of The Greenway section from the Seven Meadows car park to the Milcote crossing is surfaced with loose gravel, with many deep pockets of gravel, and is dangerous to cyclists - this is part of the National Cycle Network. There have been numerous accidents with cyclists as a result of the gravel - in w/c 13 April 2025 one cyclist fell as a result if the gravel and sustained a broken hip. The surface was laid in 2024, the LA had signs warning cyclists about the loose gravel -they're not there now. Sustrans has approached the LA but "they did not take our advice"

The road sign to Dodwell Park is rotten and has fallen over. The post needs replacing ASAP please. The sign is lying on the verge as seen in the photo and is a hazard.

Loads of old metal has been flytipped in the corner of the area cleared away by Balfour Beatty.

This area has lots of old metal debris and glass which was covered up by the vegetation which Balfour Beatty removed recently. Its dangerous, rusty and been like this for many years as was obviously a place for a dumping ground.
