Elm Close Pebworth between numbers 3 - 11 car parking in pavement & emergency access road causing obstruction and a disabled lady to go into road way with walker to get around.
17th August
I have contacted Pebworth Parish clerk & PO Martin Beard with photographs - details of cars and vans and dates and lengths of time they are parked. There is spaces available to park - but choose to be extremely lazy and the need to park over someone else's front ( mainly No 8 & 9 ) 8 being a disabled family of 3 . It's been going on for 20 years but now it's 2/3 vehicles a day for anything up to 2 hours . Some are carers and health staff for a gent who is seriously ill - but quite capable of walking from actual spaces . I myself have thyroid cancer and on waiting list for operation . I was 20 mins late for my scan appointment at Alexander hospital and had to wait 3 hours to be seen because vehicles obstructing the road. I have had vans parked right in front of house on pavement at 6.45am with music full blast and engine running eating a sandwich & cup of coffee - when asked to move down onto spaces - I got verbal abuse. In 2000 we were given planning plans for 6 extra space on the green and more in front of No 11 - only 3 were put in by no 11. So it has never elliviated the issues. We have are car in Motability and in past the cars have had damaged track rod ends . Motability have said if it continues then we will have the car taken away from us . I am not mobile without a car to get to hospital appointments. I have put up notices and no one has parked outside directly in front of no 9 - but are outside no 8 and in the corner - this is a single roadway and was put in - because when it was a green only - there was a fire in the corner and fire engines couldn't get up to house. I have emailed all photos & evidence to Parish Clerk & Police and nothing is being done to stop it - double yellows on pavement or bigger notices????!! Would like to email more photos and details please . Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Mrs Lesley Willett - 9 Elm Close Pebworth

Dangerous footpath stile
29th June
The stile is unstable so difficult to step on safely, and there are barbed wire strands where we need to grab. In fact many of the stiles on this stretch of path from Court Farm south are not very good - this is the worst.

Rubble dumped in layby
27th July
Layby / Farm entrance has bricks dumped in it. A piece of brick had been thrown onto the road and has ripped the sidewall out of my offside front car tyre and pieces of the brick damaged the paint on the rear offside car door. The piece of brick was in the centre of the road. It had gone by the time I returned from changing my tyre for the spare wheel.
The tyre deflated instantly and is unrepairable and could easily have caused an accident. The tyre cost 120 4 months (1500 miles ago). Whoever owns this land should be be liable for the repair of my car.
