Due to parked cars no street cleaning has taken place on the section of Carters Lane nearest to Main Street for a considerable time. There is significant build-up of dead leaves, etc on the road and opposite pavement which are in part contributing to blocked trans in this area.

Dangerous potholes still waiting to be fixed

There must be at least 6 potholes of varying sizes between war memorial to beyond the Home Guard Club on the left hand side of road facing Stratford. Some a very large and extremely dangerous to anyone on a cycle. They have been reported but as yet no action!!! Need fixing ASAP PLEASE.

Pothole caused puncture

This pothole - which caught me unawares - caused a juddering impact, and within 5mins my tyre warning light illuminated. This happened on the afternoon of Sunday 26th Jan. Now confirmed as a puncture that must be replaced for 157 ! How do I claim for this and from whom. I note the hole has been filled in today.

Poor condition of pavement

We are elderly residents of Moreton Close who are very concerned about the poor state of the pavements. We know the importance of keeping active and walking as much as possible but the moss, cracks and tarmac damage from tree roots are real hazards. When Burford Road pavements were repaired and resurfaced a few years ago we were 'promised' that our pavements were next on the list. We are in a high Council Tax band and feel that we have received little attention to our surroundings in recent years. The pavement surfaces are deteriorating significantly.
