7 metre length of flexible ducting and clips flytipped
13th February
A 7 metre long length of flexible ducting together with a number of round clips and other plastic waste has been fly tipped on the verge at the base of the railway bridge abutment. Would it be possible to dispose of it safely before the wind and traffic cause it to break up into smaller pieces that will become strewn across the area. Many thanks.

Remains of a fire left on the verge
11th September
Travellers have just vacated this site and have left a part burned fire on the verge. This includes a very large part burned log, other part burned material and a heap of ash. If this is not removed before the next verge mowing in the Spring, your mowing Contractor will hit it and cause huge damage to their machinery. It is also a dangerous obstacle to horse riders and pedestrian who must use the verge as a refuge to move out of the way of speeding traffic on this narrow stretch of road. The fire has caused scorch damage to the natural vegetation on the verge in a Green Belt area. Would it be possible to remove the large log from site and disperse the ash and other detritus so the verge can recover, thanks.

Blocked drain under road means water flooding across road
7th February
Blocked drain gully and underwater pipe at location (ballparks.pinging.candy) means water coming down hill from spring is running across road instead of down drain as usual. The water runs from location above to location (dine.lunching.plans) and even though it is running will freeze at the next frost and cause traffic risk.

Stone and Gravel on highway still not removed
9th January
A large quantity of stone and gravel have accumulated on the sides of the highway at the point indicated. These have washed out onto the highway from a private lane the joins the highway at this point. The quantity of material at the road edge substantially reduces the width of the highway causing vehicles to have to cross the central line into the path of oncoming traffic to avoid it. The debris spreads out right across the highway and represents a sever skid hazard to motorists, motorcyclists and cyclists. I asked for it to be removed on the 12th December 2023 and nothing has been actioned. Please will you respond to this serious problem, thankyou.

Huge quantity of Gravel and stone on highway
12th December
A huge quantity of gravel and small stone has washed out of a side lane onto the highway. It has made the highways treacherous for vehicles and reduces the width of the road so vehicles have to drive into the path of oncoming traffic. This location is notorious for flooding in wet weather and this gravel will be hidden under flood water making it doubly treacherous. Please could you remove it and all the debris from this short stretch of highway next to the railway bridge. Thank you.

Recurring pothole on the inside of bend on Saddlebow Lane.
2nd December
This has been repaired in the past year or so but has opened up again. It is dangerous as its on the inside of a bend and cars approaching from Claverdon pull out to avoid it into the path of cars coming down the hill that they cant see until late. Accident waiting to happen. I think it needs extra attention as the last repair hasnt lasted long and the WCC guy said that there is a drain problem.

Gullies blocked
1st November
WCC has replaced several gullies along the road from Wolverton to Langley, (ie between the house called Wolverton Hill to the entrance to Manor Farm drive). Thats great but six gullies including new ones are still blocked causing water to cover the road. There are two blocked on left going towards Langley from Wolverton and four blocked on the other side.

Bridge collapse
12th October
I was riding my horse across this bridleway bridge when a section of it collapsed causing my horse to fall through. Its extremely dangerous and very clearly rotten and poses a serious danger. My horse was lucky to sustain only cuts and bruises and the same for myself as I fell from my horse when his leg went through the bridge.
