Unsafe bulge in carriageway
23rd January
There is a bulge in the carriageway of the A447 that is high enough to destabilise vehicles. This is has been there for several months and is not safe. Driving over this can cause quite a jolt and possible suspension damage.
The bulge is located at the junction at the point as if you were turning out of Bosworth Road heading for Hinckley.
It is not safe to stop and take photographs

Top section of wooden handrail loose on steep steps to public footpath
15th March
The uprights holding the wooden handrail are loose in the ground and the handrail gives way when you put your hand on it. It is the section at the top of a flight of steep steps leading from Cadeby Lane (a 60mph lane with no pavement) to a public footpath which crosses an open field to the A447, as indicated by the green dashed line on the map. It is regularly and well used by dog walkers and hikers. The handrail is extremely dangerous. I do not know how long it has been in this condition.

26th September
Every time the pisces chip shop in Earl Shilton is open the streets high street and Byron street is a nightmare to get down if I as a car driver struggle what would it be like for the emergency services. Its a joke they park on a junction on a bend its hard to get in and out of the road I live off the adjacent street to Byron street so have seen this going on for for years its getting more and more dangerous it would be nice if something could be done about it .
