Leaving A52 At the Thoresby Rd junction in Bramcote heading to Nottingham from Bramcote Island there is a deep as you turn causing cars. To try and miss the pothole and possibly causing an accident as they manoeuvre past it.

Crash barrier damaged

Crash barrier on the Westbound entry slip road to the A494 from Parkgate Road near the overbridge is damaged. This is now hidden behind vegetation. The barrier protects the drop down to the main A494 underpass.

Masses of potholes down entire stretch
25th June
Along this stretch which is used by cyclists, horse riders, walkers and vehicles for access to properties, there is masses of potholes down the entire stretch which is extremely dangerous for all users. It could cause cyclists to dismount, horses to stumble and injure their legs, walkers to stumble and fall or damage to vehicles as they try to proceed to properties. The extent of the pot holes along this stretch has become unacceptable and an accident waiting to happen.

Traffic lights changing too quickly - this is not normal. Causing major queues and congestion leading up to and on roundabout.

Flooding

There has been almost continual flooding across the end of Kingdwood Lane for the last couple of months. Nothing seems to have been done to rectify the problem. As vehicles are tending to move to the middle of the road to go through the shallowest point, it is only a matter of time before someone comes round the corner and causes an accident

In the grass area on the A494 between the lay-by and services sign (eastbound) there is a discarded fuel container (small red type). Its tipped up so unlikely to contain much fuel but given the potential contents it might need checking.

Pot Hole
5th January
Pot hole deeper than 50 mm. has been there for a week or two. When near side wheel on turning left onto the Parkgate road, enters the pothole there is potential for car wheel/suspension damage, or bringing an motor cyclist or pedal cyclist off into traffic. The pothole has been reported to/seen by the Cheshire West Highways department but they say it is not their responsibility but yours.

as well as the countdown markers themselves are overgrown with vegetation and not visible from the road..
The sign needs to be repositioned or the obscuring vegetation cut back.

westbound on A494 obscured by tall hedge.
The first junction sign (ie. before the countdown markers) is on the other side of a tall hedge from the road and cannot be seen. Not sure when the hedge was last trimmed down, but either the sign needs to be moved to the roadside, or the hedge needs regular maintenance.

Fencing is about to fall down

We live alongside the main carriageway, the fencing erected in front is both falling towards us and the main carriageway. Each time a HGV goes past the fence gets sucked in and leans further each week.
