It wrote off my tire. It looks like the road has been dug up to the base and left. I put a cone in the hole so that other drivers can see it.

In excess of 20 dead deer
11th November
There are in excess of 20 large dead deer clearly visible on the A120 between Braintree and Stansted. I realise this problem has been reported many times and that you state that it is your policy to let dead animals off the carriageway decay naturally, but these are very large animals which will take a very long time. Meanwhile, there seem to be more carcasses every day. It is at least unsightly and upsetting, but I would think it is also a safety hazard. It must be only a matter of time before somebody has an accident - possibly fatal - as a result of being distracted by their traumatised children, or in my case, my mother with dementia. If the Highways agency have clearly been told about the issue many times, it might be argued that there had been a failure of duty on their part to prevent such an accident.

Several very deep potholes on side of narrow road. Blind bend in road often forced drivers into one of several potholes when another car in opposite direction comes round corner. Busy road during school times so very dangerous. Has caused major car & tyre damage.

Notification to residents
20th April
When you closed the A120 at night for maintenance up to the end of March, you wrote to residents on the B1256 & informed us of the closures & the period they would cover. However it seems you are closing the A120 st night over recent weeks & havent bothered to let us know!! The additional night time traffic noise is really intrusive, as are the car lights & light pollution, engine pollution and the speed of the cats going past is horrifying!! How long have we got to put up with this for? My sleep is being really disturbed (which disturbs my mind & mood). You could have let us know in advance!! We literally counted down the days when the traffic was heading west for A120 carriageway repairs. When will all this end?

Broken pothole repair and puddle (photo shows dip without puddle water!) damaging house and window.
10th April
Pothole repaired last year but the tarmac started falling out soon after. The repair has left a puddle and when cars pass by they splash water all over house. (The window is a delicate old sash window and the house is listed). The constant water and dampness is causing the wood to rot and putty to fall out of the window frames. The paint on the outside of the house is coming off and water seeps under the front door and is damaging the door, pillars and door furniture. Stones are also flicked up by cars and we have two cracks in the glass.

Potholes size of a grave
12th March
Dreadful roundabout with potholes all the way around have damaged my car tyres in early February nothing has been done and I want reimbursement for two tyres I had to pay for as the sidewalls had huge chunks and cuts out of them from the sharp sides of the 60mm deep pothole at this particular roundabout, oh and this has been in a similar state for 3 years so is evident nobody is monitoring the roads in Essex.

Flooding
26th December
This road floods. This is only after a shower. When is heavy rain, there is no possible walking through because you won't be able to see the pavement. The road becomes a big lake which is long about 20m. I did reported this about 3months ago but nothing was done with it.
