Multiple deep potholes along Trinity Lane near Trinity Meadows junction
12th May
From the junction at Trinity Meadows to roughly 100 paces south of the cattle grid, the surface of Trinity Lane has numerous large potholes and gouges, some between 46 inches deep. These pose a significant hazard to pedestrians and vehicles using the lane. The road is frequently accessed by local residents, gardeners, and visitors to the nearby golf course. The damage appears to fall within or adjacent to Estate-managed land, but may be under highway authority responsibility. Clarification and urgent repairs are requested to prevent risk of injury or vehicle damage.

Paving slabs breaking up outside 58 Slimbridge Close
Yate.
A number of paving slabs are breaking up outside 58 Close, Yate, BS37 8XZ. This is presumably due to a combination of weathering and other factors such as light trafficking/cars reversing or using the dropped kerb area to gain access for parking. The slabs have been breaking up slowly over 3-4 years but this has been sped up by the flooding of Slimbridge Close in November 2024. Im unsure how long the slabs have been there but Id guess theyre at least 20 years old. At the moment, the problem is probably more aesthetic than anything although they pose a potential trip hazard for residents should the slabs condition worsen.

Dangerous Parking
26th April
Cars are being parked in the centre of the High Street. I have reported it to the council and the police bit nothing is done. I would ask the council to raise with the police. It is dangerous to pedestrians and makes it hard to get out of legitimate spaces
