The postcode's commercial and leisure centres are growing rapidly, with a number of popular retail parks, a leisure cinema, new leisure centre, supermarkets, and other local services. The local sports centre is also equipped with facilities such as table tennis, basketball, badminton, hockey and bodybuilding.

One of the postcode's biggest attractions is the nearby Kingsbury Water Park, located near the M42. The park is a nature reserve, with 600 acres of woodland, lakes and wetland, which is home to more than 160 species of birds and wildlife. It also contains two Roman villas, some Bronze Age monuments and the site of a demolished twelfth-century abbey.

The local schools are mostly highly rated, including the nearby Four Oaks Community Primary School and Tudor Grange Academy which provide education up to GCSE level. Many of the schools in the postcode catchment area work together to provide a wide range of extra-curricular activities.

The area is fairly affluent, with a large proportion of white collar workers, highly educated residents and higher than average house prices. It has a low crime rate and is generally considered a safe place to live.
