This pot hole has been here for several weeks and is becoming deeper, often not visible in the rain when full of water there is a second slightly smaller on the same side of the road about 30 meters east, and another on the West bound side in the centre of the village adjacent to the drain grate, these are all potentially dangerous to cyclists, and could also damage a motor vehicle wheel

18 inch by 12 inch pothole on southern side of carriageway, 25th January
The size of the pothole is gradually increasing as a result of tyre impacts. Hole has been present for >6 months but has become more significant in last 2 months.

Unable to use public footpath due to overgrown Thistles and Nettles, 7th August
Unable to access public footpath due to overgrown weeds, mainly thistles and nettle up to 4 ft high.. This is a popular path used by residents of Catton for dog and recreational walking along the river Swale. Has been used extensively over the 3 years i have live in the village but this year has not been maintained and the styles are in ill repair. This has forced alot of dog walkers to use the public roads which have no footpath and are single lane, very dangerous with dog on leads.

The surface of the bridge over the Swale is deteriorating rapidly allowing water to enter the surface and add to the problem. Needs resurfacing quickly.

Excessive mud on road, 8th March
The road between skipton on swale leading towards Catton has excessive mud on the road. This is used by farm vehicles regularly who fail to clean roads or display signage. Very slippery in wet conditions

This section of road is constantly under water. This can be very dangerous to those who do not know the road and can be damaging to vehicles who pass through on a daily basis.

Graffiti on signpost, 27th July
Graffiti has appeared on the signpost to the village of Catton at the junction in Skipton on Swale. Although only small i fear this may have been used to "Tag" the village as potential theft target.

Dog Fouling, 3rd January
The above is a permanent problem on this estate as all gardens are open. It is a particular issue on the rat-run to the local Londis Supermarket. The MOD are aware and do nothing.
