Several pot holes and poor surface along the road, 15th June
The section in picture is particularly bad as it almost stretches across entire road and is bad enough in a car but it is extremely dangerous on a cycle. Which we get a lot of. I have reported this a number of times and get the same response. When will it get fixed? When a cyclist breaks their neck?! On top of this the road surface along this stretch of road next to the new residential area is poor.

Need Gulley at top of Cul-de-sac as it floods, 8th April
When all the Oaks dwellings were built in 1999 they didn't include a gully for at the top of the estate for the rainwater run off to flow into so that it now runs down the hill over the footpath & road into the gully further down & is a real hazard for us all living here in winter. The whole area shown in the two photos above floods & my neighbour cannot get into his car without wearing wellies. His drive is a real mess due to it backing up & this is a really urgent matter now. Obviously it has dried out with the lovely weather we are having but in winter & when we get massive rainfalls it is horrendous with all the field run off coming to the lowest point also.
I have had drainage contractors out to investigate & they have said that we need a drainage gully at the top of the road. It has been going on for years & no one seems to have solved it yet.
Please can someone come out & have a look & advise?
I look forward to hearing from you. Best wishes
Karen Horton

Speeding Vehicles, 18th September
The speed of vehicles passing through the village is far in excess of the 30mph speed limit. Not only are cars ignoring the speed limit but also HGV's. With a new housing estate at one side of the road (home to many young children) and a play park at the other, it is only a matter of time until there is a serious accident.
