Huge sign, Bredon Hill Country, which is currently lit up., 13th October

Wed, 13 Oct 2021 19:11:13 +0100
52.041913 -1.983682

The Bredon Hill Country sign has been under review by the Highways Agency and by the local council. It has been decided that it is dangerous, it has no planning permission and is on our land and we have not given permission for this. I believe the owner of Brddon Hill Country, Mr. William Davies has been given 28 days to remove the sign and we will be very relieved when this happens. However tonight he has lit the sign making it extremely glaring and making it so much more dangerous. Really hope it does not cause an accident, my husband is trying to cover the bulbs.

Over a metre long pothole, 22nd October

Mon, 22 Oct 2018 17:21:43 +0100
52.029756 -1.9606

I hit this pothole today at approx 12.30pm at around 50mph. It has buckled two of my wheels and popped a tyre which is going to cost well in excess of £500 to sort at the busiest time of year for me at work. This has cost me a whole afternoon and I've had to hire a car to drive while I get mine sorted. It's on the bend as you head towards Sedgeberrow from Toddington direction on the left hand side approx 1.3m long and 80mm deep in places.

Stones / grit / rocks on cycle path, 30th June

Sat, 30 Jun 2018 17:57:22 +0100
52.056963 -1.956992

Stones on cycle path caused rip in my bicycle tyre today and loss of control of my bike and steered me towards the road. Location: Along cycle track on A46 Between sedgeborough junction toward Evesham - rocks + stones on cycle track beside lay-by A46 Sedgeborough to Evesham. I've kicked the large stone which deflated my tyre into the side but there are lots more. Cycle track is dangerous to cyclists causing many to use the A46 instead. Also trees at Sedgeborough junction need cut back along cycle path

Bad road surface, Winchcombe road Sedgeberrow, 8th February

Sun, 08 Feb 2015 22:50:58 +0000
52.0456692537633 -1.96444210052481

Travelling from Evesham through Sedgeberrow towards Winchcombe on the Winchcombe Road. The section of the road that runs alongside the playing field is terrible. There are potholes, the road surface is very uneven & badly worn. There have been some attempts to patch the road up, but it is not good. It makes driving on the road very uncomfortable, and damaging my car, this section does re surfacing, not more patching. Now the Government has given money to improve road please can this section be done this Spring. Thank you

Dangerous new road marking, 17th January

Sat, 17 Jan 2015 09:50:03 +0000
52.048295 -1.971522

The northbound side has broken centre lining leading up to a central bollard/high kerb. This misleads drivers into thinking its safe to overtake. Its also on the brow of a hill so bollard is out of sight as you approach.

Parking situation near Sedgeberrow primary school., 13th September

Sat, 13 Sep 2014 22:41:08 +0100
52.0433744393269 -1.97347858082679

Parking restrictions from 8 till 6 (single yellow line) were introduced on both sides of Main Street near the school earlier this year. However there is no parking restriction on one side from the Nursery to 101 Main Street, where there is a dangerous blind bend. Parents are still parking their cars on the yellow lines on both sides of the road. Cars are also parked on the pavements & on a dangerous bend where there are no parking restrictions. As a result it is even more dangerous than before & the congestion at 9 & 3 has been made even worse. Children have to walk around cars parked on pavements, buses & cars cannot get past & mount the pavement, cars are parked on a blind bend. There will be a serious accident involving a child if nothing is done soon. There needs to be a consultation with the school, parents & parish council in order to find a satisfactory solution to the problem, e.g. a complete parking ban on the side of the road by the Nursery & on the bend. A "drop & go area" in front of the school or in the school car park with adult supervision of the children going in & out of school could be one solution.

Wed, 02 Apr 2014 18:51:10 +0100
52.0553575821186 -1.9520518031667

There is a huge quantity of mud on the road from the minor road from Blake's Hill along the main road A46 to Greville Hall Farm entrance. (Maybe water pipe work going on.) For safety's sake it needs cleaning. Cyclists and other two wheeled users will find this very dangerous, as stones are thrown up. Thanks..

Parking on pavements & grass verges, 2nd February

Sat, 02 Feb 2013 18:41:33 +0000
52.043459619687 -1.9735272717737

There are cars being parked daily on the pavement & on grass verges in front of the houses in this area where the kerb has not been dropped. They block the pavements making it difficult for wheelchairs & pushchairs to get past. Also it is churning up the verges making it muddy & difficult to cut the grass.
