Drivers not following Highway Code, 9th February
Vehicles are turning out of quarry lane give way junction with no regard for vehicles U turning at the relevant U turn point on the dual carriageway. The Highway Code states that as this is a give way junction then vehicles at the give way point should give way to traffic on the main road. Which they are not. I’ve had several lorry type vehicles turn into me and nearly hit me because they do not understand the road laws or have any regard for vehicles already on the dual carriageway.

Approx 15 inch pothole on Wycliffe Street, Ossett WF59ER, 13th October
Large pothole getting bigger and deeper over a period of 3-4 months. Estimated to now be 15 inch long x 10 inch wide x 2 inch deep. The pothole is situated outside number 13 and in direct line with moving car wheels as cannot be avoided due to parked cars either side of the pothole and the street being narrow. Has got to the point now where stones from the hole flicking up against parked cars at either side and could easily cause a puncture or if left longer potentially suspension damage. Also a second smaller pothole that is getting bigger in size outside number 7 on the same street.

Long deep pot hole in between both lanes, 18th April
This pot hole has been 4 months, it has damaged my car and i can imagine many other peoples. It’s a duel carriage way and it is a 40mph road, people who don’t know that it is there such as people who are visiting the area who haven’t been before, travelling at 40mph would cause some damage to their car. Police speed vans often sit at 3 spaces along this road, to say they do and nothing had been reported of this is concerning. This could cause some serious damage to someone’s car.

Two big DPD vans parking on a small cul-de-sac, 1st June
There are two DPD vans that park on our street which one of them always tends to park on the corner. Which makes it near to impossible to get past as car parking is already an issue on the street. The street also has access to garages which one of them is ours, but it is always near to impossible to get a space by the garages as people park Infront of them with no regard to who's they are. Which when the DPD vans park on the street it begins to cause a parking problem as there is no space at all to park the car. I then end up having to park it on an entire different street or an awkward spot that may potentially block another car. It's seemed to be an issue now for the past two months. But suddenly another DPD van has shown up.
