The area of grass adjacent to the beautiful statue used to be cut regularly and well maintained as an asset to Chertsey. Since the roadworks, the contractors have not returned it to it’s former state. They dug it up, left a patch of mud, abandoned signage and now the weeds are growing. Can this please be returned to cut grass, as before. I anticipate this being ignored so will write to MP in the meantime.

Significant hole in fence leading to lake, 11th May
There is a significant hole in the fencing between Laleham Park and the lake. It’s a very large hole which dogs and children can get though and go straight into the lake posing a huge safety risk. I’m not sure who owns the fencing - council or private - but I wouldn’t want anyone going through the gap and getting it to trouble in the water.

Consistent excessive dog fouling and rubbish from co op. Mead Lane, Step gates and surrounding area, 1st May
Area needs dog fouling posters and poo bins in the Meads and Mead Lane need emptying more regularly please.

18in pothole, sub material spilling out, 26th April
Pot hole has been at end of road close to exit out to the main road since the end of last year. Sub material is being kicked out every time a car drives over it.

Numerous pot holes 3in deep over 12in diameter, 24th April
Pot holes have been down this length of the road for months, fixing one at a time doesn't work as we have to raise a new case every month! Sub material lying on the road. Central section of road needs resurfacing - more important than pavements down side roads where there are few walkers!

Persistent dog fouling, 23rd April
Nothing is being done about this. Been reporting for over a year. Still the same fat black Labrador leaves almost daily gifts on footpaths in Fairview Drive used by school kids, walkers and residents Seems pointless reporting law breaking owners these days.

Road works failure to observe RAMS for road works, 22nd March
Substantial debris forming at junctions and various bends in the road. This is a huge risk to road users especially motor cyclists, cyclists. The road needs to be kept a safe condition in accordance with SSWRW CoP.

Top surface has failed for about 1 square metre and deep hole has developed on 1 side say 20cm deep. Cyclists have to swerve round it on narrow road which is dangerous

Rocks on verge - dangerous near school, 7th March
There are rocks blocking car doors from being opened onto the safe side of the parked car on most of the grass verges down this street. This means passengers are often exiting cars into traffic. This includes children going to a nearby school. This is creating a danger to children.

Path way muddy and slippery overgrown, 20th February
The pathway is now completely covered with mud and very slippery underfoot. The bushes are so overgrown there is very little pathway anyway.
