Bad pot holes, 21st April
Bad pot holes along the whole stretch of road. A30 gets closed and all the traffic comes through the village. Road not designed for the volume of traffic hence the damage.

Improper repairs have let even more deep potholes appear in this area. Exacerbated by all the mud and debris STILL in this area.

Flood again!, 20th February
Road completely flooded again, impassable on foot and tricky for cycles. The drains are AGAIN blocked with the mud and debris I have reported before getting washed into the drains because CCC don't want to clear up the mud and debris that get washed into the drains every time it rains. Continually having to clear the drain run offs must be costing a lot more than just sorting out the problem in the first place? High time this was sorted properly and not just the usual "CCC can't afford to sort it out" nonsense...

This is a suspension ripper and a danger to cyclists, especially being on the 32 cycle route.

Pothole here again. Other just down the road were reported and fixed, but this one was missed> Quite deep and on the 32 cycle trail, so also a danger to cyclists.

So, as expected the poorly mended potholes have reappeared again! This whole area needs a good sort out once and for all. Fixing the numerous potholes and removing mud and debris.

FLOOD again!, 6th December
Road flooded again this morning, impassable on foot, and will most probably be even worse later when more rain comes. Caused by the drains being blocked again, despite being cleared a few months ago! This will continue to happen until all the mud and debris in the area are properly cleared. This has been visited and ignored by you for well over a year and, frankly, it's just totally unacceptable to keep ignoring this problem. You "man" is supposed to have been and looked at it a few months ago and stated that it's acceptable, if it's acceptable I dread to think what isn't! Please sort this properly once and for all, we're sliding about all over the place when we have to pass other vehicles. This is 2023! Thank you.

MUD & debris, 22nd November
MUD & debris still here after many reports. Deep mud in the passing places, Christmas is coming and Lappa Valley Railway traffic will be huge at this time of year. If a car gets into this mud they can get stuck. Please send a proper digger or something to properly clear this area so the drains don't get blocked again next time it rains. Thank you Local resident who uses this road everyday. :-/

Deep potholes and mud and debris everywhere., 14th November
Deep potholes and mud and debris everywhere. Once again the potholes have returned and the deep mud and debris reported over a year ago is still there. The drains were cleared due to a massive lake in the road, but these have now blocked again because the mud was never removed and it just washes back into the gullies. Can you please sort out this area properly for once so we locals and traffic to Lappa Velley Railway can pass each other without the need of a 4x4? This whole area from Benny Mill to Pooles Cottage is in need of some serious attention. Thank you.

Flood here still drains blocked again, 18th October
Deep flood here because the drains to the river are still blocked. I suggested these be cleared before the summer as there is lots of debris there and still is there. My suggestions were fobbed off with a "we'll do it when we can" now the road is properly flooded. Over a foot deep and impassable for foot and cycle traffic. Been like that for three days. Come on CCC, get it sorted asap, please!
