Damaged street light not working, 12th September
The street light has been driven into and isn't working. I reported it to sanctuary who told me it was Cornwall councils issue. I suspect it's not been adopted by cc yet, however the street is pitch black and it's a security issue . It's been this way for over a year

No Traffic Management at busy periods to allow A39 traffic onto roundabout., 10th August
Roadworks in place to dual A30 Carland Cross to Chiverton roundabout. This results in huge queues on A30 westbound on approaches to roadworks at Carland Cross. The queueing traffic sits across the roundabout, refusing to let traffic from A39 onto the roundabout (to head east on the A30). This results in long tailbacks on the A39, usually 20=30 minute waits at peak times (changeover days Fri and Sat ) . This is completely avoidable with traffic management (e.g lights or traffic marshalls at peak times) to stop the westbound queueing traffic and allow the A39 queue out onto the clear eastbound A30. The damage to the environment of long queues on the A39 with engines running is huge and avoidable.

Constant congestion and dangerous driving, 2nd August
I believe there needs to be improvements to the constand congestion and traffic build up on this roundabout. On approach from Trispen to the A30 east bound I am often stuck in slow moving traffic, up a hill, in order to join the A30. This is often for periods of 20-30 mintues just to get onto the roundabout. Slow traffic in the direction west is always backed up and therefore you can only move right when it's backed up enough and someone kindly lets you out. Due to there being roadworks in the area until at least 2023 I can see this problem is not going to be resolved. It is significantly worse now it's school summer holidays and traffic coming into Cornwall has increased. I believe some temporary traffic lights could sort out the situation by ensuring people are evenly moving. I don't enjoy everyday finishing work and having an hour commute when it should be half of that. Because of the issue people are using the left hand lane of the A30 approach to turn right, causing near misses and dangerous driving. Roundabouts are in place to ease traffic and this is not the case at Carland Cross.

Obstruction of right-turning traffic from A39 onto A30 by westbound stationary traffic on A30, 24th April
Westbound A30 traffic around the roundabout slows to a crawl or even stops entirely, totally obstructing right-turning traffic from the A39. At peak times the queuing time on the A39 for this turn can easily be in excess of 45 minutes. The A39 entry at this roundabout has "Keep Clear" painted across part of it, but this is often obscured by stationary A30 trafiic (!) and just totally ignored. A fairly simple solution would be to create a conspicuous yellow hashed "boxed junction" marking at the A39 exit with appropriate signage (and provide some enforcement for this and the blatant use of the "left turn only" exit lane from the A39 to turn right, an inherently dangerous and totally unacceptable manoeuvre).
This problem has been present for several years, but has become worse with the ongoing A30 upgrade works throttling westbound traffic flow.

For many years , as traffic queues to turn right at this junction, many drivers use the left hand lane ( left turn only) to go around the roundabout in order to turn right I have witnessed numerous incidences of near misses and road rage issues at this location and Zif there hasn’t yet been an accident, there will be very soon Please take some action to stop this poor, selfish driving and stop any possible accident One solution would be to allow left hand lane users to turn left or right as was the case some years ago Also signage could be erected further back on the A39 and more prominently Cameras could be installed as a deterrent Also more regular police patrol presence would assist Please acknowledge my communication
