Dangerous T junction, 9th September

Thu, 09 Sep 2021 20:37:11 +0100
50.136346 -5.322916

Coming from Nancegollan, the T junction to cross the B3302 to go to Godolphin cross is completely blind and therefore hideously dangerous. My car has fairly long bonnet and I could not see the road in either direction to cross it safely. It became Russian roulette with both windows down to listen for traffic and pull out so far to see in one direction and then make a purposeful dash across the road to avoid on coming cars - not a pleasant experience, but, what else could I do except return to Nancegollan. Please test the junction and see if you have a similar experience. I hope nobody has an accident here it was very perturbing as I’m a careful, conscious person. Regards Nigel Foy

Large water filled potholes and surface damage, overgrown hedges, 25th October

Sun, 25 Oct 2020 09:49:38 +0000
50.145241 -5.316332

I use this route most days for walking. Over the past few months the surface has been degraded by heavy vehicle use. It is possible to avoid some of the potholes but the brambles in the overgrown hedges cause damage to cloths etc. This area has been a joy to walk during the lockdown and has certainly helped with health and wellbeing, unfortunately the lane is in such a state many of its previous users cannot use this area.

Two problems sorry! The bridging point across the stream and eroding road opposite the entrance drive of Little Pengelly Farm (Brookdale Farm on your map).Unfortunately the road is beginning to collapse where the ford crosses the road. I have video and can send it on whats Ap if you wish, if you need to see the impact of the stream, 13th February

Thu, 13 Feb 2020 10:34:40 +0000
50.14409 -5.339905

Streams are eroding the road opposite the entrance of Little Pengelly Farm (this requires business access. Streams are eroding the road in the valley. The latter problem was noted by the area's road foreman for road repairs some 5 or 6 years ago? Three streams meet at this point (when it rains they flow vigorously as the water table is up.) The streams are eroding the stones away at the shoulders of the road. The road has become narrower and now lorries are further damaging the road (it is the only access for lorries to Trenwheal hamlet for lorries and farm traffic as there are very tight bends in the other direction.) Thank you for your help.
