FIXMYSTREET IN TR19 7AD
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of TR19 7AD:
Pothole around Fire Hydrant & Deteriorated Road Surface, 23rd April
The pothole around the Fire-hydrant has been like this for over 2 months ! I thought the road network was inspected on a monthly basis ?? The Roundabout on the A30 junction with Cove Road has been that many times and the patches failing each time or new potholes appearing after patching is a waste of money, you need to completely resurface the area around the roundabout and redo the roundabout? Cove Road tarmac has deteriorated substantially in places along the length of the road and needs urgent repairs carried out. Also the Double Yellow Lines & Keep Clear marking need repainting to prevent another year of parking chaos, which will possibly if not repainted could lead to the bus service being withdrawn due to the fact the busses cannot turn, due to car’s parking on the worn out lines & Keep Clear Markings.

No Parking Enforcement !!, 12th April
Where have Cornwall Councils Civil Enforcement Officers gone ? You never see them out doing the job they are supposed to be doing, there is absolutely chaotic scenes of vehicles parking in contravention of the Parking Restrictions, in Sennen Cove the Double Yellow Lines are ignored, St Just is gridlocked most days because there is No Enforcement. Clearly the Council cannot Enforce the Parking Restrictions, the Job of Enforcement of Parking Restrictions should be outsourced to a private company to do the job correctly. Cornwall Council is failing to provide any sort of service to the residents of Cornwall, Planning Enforcement is also an absolute disgrace, any Enforcement is non existent !!!!

Cars and vans parking on both corners and verges as well as pavements right on the entrance to Atlantic Crescent have resulted in a near total block of vision when exiting the crescent on to the A30. This has already resulted in several near misses and is an accident waiting to happen. There is currently no parking restriction on the corners, but this should be reviewed.
