There is a large shallow pothole, about one metre by three metres, that causes, everytime it rains, a great shower six feet high to be sprayed over my front door every time traffic passes. I need an inspector to come and view this when it is raining., 9th January
This shallow depression has been in the road for about five years, now getting much worse, ever since the highways department mended the road . The amount of water being sprayed over my house is now warping my front door. It is impossible to enter or leave the house when it is raining and a car is passing for fear of a complete soaking, from head to foot. Last time I tried to get something done, about four years ago, the inspector came on a fine day, and could see nothing amisss. Please come soon! on a wet day!

Japanese knotweed above Roskilly beach, 7th August
There is a large area (perhaps 50 yards by 20 yards) of flourishing Japanese knotweed growing in the bank overloooking the sea. It is below the roadway and pedestrian footpath, and above the path that surmounts to sea defence. The best access for workmen will be to use the steep steps down to the seawall (close to the dog-waste bin) and walk along until the patch is visible.

Broken asphalt surface on footpath opposite 24 Duck Street, Mousehole alongside concrete gully. It is a trip hazard. There are further instances on the footpath towards the Harbour. Not sure when problem first appeared but grass is growing in soil.
