Rocks falling from hedgeway, 9th December
This hedge is on boundary of Newlyn School, Carne Road (leading to Creeping Lane) The hedge is collapsing in two areas on lower part with rocks going into lane therefore obstructing residents safe access. The hedge is another 10/15 ft above the collapse so may be risk to public.

Gurnick Estate signpost is missing, 15th November
Earlier in spring, the Gurnick Estate signpost that was on the corner of Tredavoe Lane and the marked on the map fork was damaged when the hedges were cut.
Although this signpost was later replaced with a new one, it was not fitted well and fell and soon disappeared.
This is the route that many delivery vans take and since the signpost disappeared we've had an increased number of delivery drivers not being able to find Gurnick Estate or calling up for directions.
Please restore the Gurnick Estate signpost at the highlighted location.

Leaves dangerously causing flooding, 18th October
The road marked is flooded on both sides due to blocked drains. The leaves are so piled up. On driving through this today on the way to Penzance the whole stretch of road needs leaves cleared from drains as the rest of the road is just starting to flood

Overgrown footpaths, 6th September
The footpaths around Higher Faugan/Tredavoe has been overgrown for months. I reported it, as did a number of neighbours, in May (and regularly since) with no improvement. I have cut as much as I can back with a secateurs but it needs doing properly. The Tredavoe to Chyenhal footpath is completely impassible. The old coffin path at the top of Tredavoe Lane to Tredavoe is so overgrown that I noted that the school young peoples trousers are wet before they even get on the bus to school. You are isolating a number of people as they like to walk to Tredavoe to the Chapel/coffee morning etc. There is no bus to Tredavoe. Therefore so much for your encouraging health and well being and being out and about more. Every time I report it CORMAC has other priorities such as the Coastal Footpath for the visitors. We-the locals- pay the precept, please let us benefit and enjoy our local environment.

Parking on double yellow lines on an accident blackspot, 19th June
This DPD van parks in this location on double yellow lines, which is an accident black spot and the gentleman has been asked not to park there due to the severity of the accidents and he has ignored it. You cannot see looking up the road to pull out of Lansdowne Road and you hit oncoming traffic if you cannot see which has happened so many times. This is double yellow lines and cars. The park here get a parking ticket so why is this obstruction of the DPD van allowed to continue parking here? Does there have to be another severe accident to get it moved?

School boundary lane overfriwn, 5th June
Newlyn School boundary onto lane is overgrown. (From Newlyn School to Back entrance of Stepping Stones Nursery) Used to be cut back by Cornwall Council but hasn’t been done for a couple of years.

.surface drain is blocked., 6th January
Highways informed me that the surface drain is Cornwal councils property the surface drain is blocked and I effective. This is causing damp to penetrate through the walls which is causing damp/witness along the perimeter wall.

Dangerous/ Slippery Road Surface, 23rd November
Can please remove all the fallen leaves from the carriage way, and sides of the road, there are deep piles of leaves that is hazardous to all road users, the A30 is a very busy road, the area that needs to be swept is from Mount Misery Roundabout along the A30 to as far as Tregonebris Hill, near Lower Leah (A30), both carriage ways. The whole stretch of the A30 could do with ploughing the edge of the carriage way to improve the road width & drainage.

The section of footpath along Trenoweth rd turning into Lansdowne close is overgrown with hedges belonging to 2 Lansdowne close. It is impossible to walk side by side along the footpath without one person walking in the road which makes it dangerous for parents with young children.

This overgrown footpath has now been cleared and I have to say it’s the best I’ve seen it for years. The work team also cleared up the verge that had recently been left in a bit of a mess. Again thanks for a job well done, sorry didn’t know how to contact you. One question can this be put on a regular maintenance schedule?
