Serious deep potholes both sides of the road, 18th March
The road surface over a 30 metre stretch of this road is appalling. With the roadworks at Crudgington crossroads this road provides an alternative route to Shrewsbury from Colds Recall.

Extensive potholed stretch of road., 13th March
This surfacing problem has been ongoing for several years with just the merest attempt, occasionally made, to rectifying it by camouflaging this disgraceful and potentially very dangerous road surface. I’m sure you are well aware that this stretch of road not only needs reconstructing but also the level needs raising. I would be happy to meet with yourselves, at the site, to discuss and agree exactly what is required to finally resolve this disastrous failure.

Top coat of tarmac crumbling, 28th February
Top coat of tarmac crumbling/breaking up to entire area of junction on Mill Lane. Numerous potholes and crumbling tarmac causing a serious skid risk to not only cars but also bicycles. Even at very low speed.

Double pothole on road., 16th February
Customer reported two potholes on road from A442 heading towards Little Bolas, just past the double bend. He is concerned as roadworks have started nearby at Crugington and will increase traffic along this stretch of road.

Very big pot holes at either end of the road., 6th February
Customer has been trying to fill in the pothole himself but the tractors and weather has just eroded it away. Customer said he is happy to fill it in but would need the material. Advised I would report the pothole and that we would be out to deal with them asap.

Very large deep potholes on nearside verge when travelling in the direction of Eaton Rd and Child’s Ercall. Holes opposite last white cottage on right when leaving the village towards Eaton Rd, 29th January
The N/S of our car dropped into this hole causing the bottom of the car to hit the road surface. Hole was water filled concealing it’s depth
