Large pothole on Wood Lane, 15th April
Large pothole on Wood Lane in Hinstock in front of the house named Chilcote. Lorries and cars are making a loud noise going over it. Been there for 2 months. Getting bigger. Has been filled multiple times before but keeps reopening. Needs a larger section of the road resurfacing, not just the pot hole. Thank you.

Near miss due to blind turning on brow of hill, 28th March
Pulling out of Hatton road onto the A41 is like taking your life into your own hands. Vehicles coming up the hill(going towards Whitchurch) do not have enough signage or warning making them aware of the turning at the top. Vehicles regularly speed up the hill and have also been seen overtaking at the top where there is a clearly marked filter turning lane(turning into Hatton road) for traffic heading away from Whitchurch. As a homeowner living in The Chestnuts, I commute daily and it is becoming increasingly more hazardous turning. Today as I pulled onto the A41, the road was clear and as I pulled onto the A41 a commercial van drove up behind me in excess of 70Mph (appearing from nowhere) and then proceeded to tailgate me until turning off the A41. We need to have more warnings for motorists, making it clear there is a turning at the top of the hill. I note that on A41 near Chetwynd Church the cats eyes illuminate and are coloured accordingly to make it very apparent to drivers. I believe we need something similar here. This is an accident waiting to happen and at the speed of the road it has potential to be a fatality.

Constant damage to verge, 26th February
Grass verge ( instead of a pavement) is constantly driven over and damaged . It is unacceptable and looks unsightly. Because of the grass there is not enough room for vehicles to pass each other without driving over the grass. Please please can something be done - can it be tarmaced or can we as residents put stones down instead of the grass. Thank you

Dangerous as road not usable, 24th February
This pothole is covering the whole of one side of the road and vehicles are unable to use one side of the road causing them to use the other side of the road which is becoming dangerous as it is very close to a corner and you are unable to see traffic coming around that corner. If a car isn’t sticking to the 30mph speed limit, which is a regular occurrence, then this is an accident waiting to happen.

Several blocked drains on Pixley lane, flood water streaming down highway to properties, 23rd February
We’ve had a persistent drain issue every winter for the past few years. As the lane is dug in between fields, the water seems to run off the fields directly onto the lane. There are 2/3 drains which are completely blocked and not carrying the water away. I’ve cleared as much leaf otter and debris away but doesn’t seem to fix the issue. As the upper drains are blocked, we now have streams funnelling water down towards the properties.
