Vehicle control structure has been vandalised / damaged, 15th May
There's a wooden structure on the footpath next to the river, when approaching from Plum Lane, designed to stop vehicles accessing this area. Someone has cleanly sawn the three wooden spars off.
This now represents a risk of motorised vehicles having access to this pathway, which, as the vegetation has overgrown, now presents a significant risk to pedestrians.

Temporary speed signs in pavement, 26th April
The roadworks signs dominate areas of the pavement, forcing pedestrians to walk around, and onto the road. Why do pedestrians have to suffer increased risk to tell road users of a speed limit change. I suggest the contractor reassesses the priority of safety in the scheme.

Lanes perhaps need to be re-signed, 24th April
Travelling from North Petherton to Northbound M5 the near side lane is marked ‘services M5 with arrows pointing to the services and a RH arrow to continue around’ so you have the inside lane to go onto the M5 north. I use this lane twice a week and the number of times my car has nearly been written off because drivers in the next lane to me on my RH side think that either they can go straight into the services which means they’re crossing in front of me, or they go around then want to come across me to go into the lane for the M5north cutting me off or coming towards my side of the car. It’s a very fast road with traffic lights. The signage doesn’t seem to work, perhaps the near side lane should just be for the services, and everyone else to go into the second lane before they then split into left for the M5 north, and right for either straight on and right for M5 south. I am not the only one who has a problem with this roundabout. I have used this particular roundabout for the last 2years.
