This defect (20m long x 0.3m wide) was reported more than 6 months ago and no action taken. The road is reduced in width as a result of the damage. I have been forced off the road at this point by large tractors whilst cycling and is a serious hazard.. Note this is NOT the site adjacent the pond which has been temporarily filled. Have repeatedly tried to enter details on SCC Highways website without success.

Pedestrian crossing faulty, 3rd December

Tue, 03 Dec 2019 13:32:41 +0000
51.20595 -3.150888

The pedestrian crossing at the cross road between cowbridge road east and cathedral road switches off frequently after being pressed so sometimes it means standing for 10 minutes continuously pressing the button to be able to cross. Often you go through two or three cycles of traffic to be able to cross. It used to just be a problem in the evenings but now I have noticed it happening in the day time too. It is frustrating and means people take more risks crossing the road when it is not sage to do so. I have been using the crossing for over a year and it has become worse in the past 2 months.

Large pothole on the left hand side of road near hedge row heading towards Nether Stowey from Stogursey, 9th October

Mon, 09 Oct 2017 17:59:41 +0100
51.177815 -3.1542

On Tuesday 3rd October at around 9.15am I was driving from Stogursey to Nether Stowey along Stogursey lane and hit a large pothole in the road which made my car judder and the steering go very shaky. I managed to get to my destination and found that my left (passenger) side tyre was very flat with a part of the tyre ripped away. I took it straight to the garage to get it pumped up but it was still very juddery on the steering and bumpy on the road and felt like the car was uncontrollable and sliding off. I took it to another garage the next day and they looked underneath, took it for a drive and said it was unsafe to drive and that the suspensions on both front wheels needed replacing but the driver's side was worse as it was leaking oil, it also needed a new front passenger side tyre as it was ripped down to the canvas. I took it straight to my local garage who fixed the car on the following Monday 9th October.
