Road continually flooded and surface breaking up, 8th March
Between Plainsfield and the Forestry Hut on Cockercombe, there has been constant fast flowing water for several months, several inches deep. Remedial work was done here some time ago, but the drainage in place is completely overwhelmed with the volume of water. It appears that there is more water than there ever has been before - I wonder if a stream has been diverted in this direction? Anyway, water is now bubbling up through the tarmac in various places where the road is clearly breaking up.

Raod covered in mud and debris, 26th November
Following a ridiculous Tractor and trailer endig up in a roadside culvert and drainage ditch this is how it has been left since last night. No attempt to properly clear up the road and now very much a danger to cyclists motorcyclist and other 'normal' road users. There will be a tragic accident on this corner and please take this as fair warning that this will end in tragedy. it will not go away by itself.

Large pool of water causing traffic to swerve., 17th October
There has been a large pool of water covering the whole of the carriageway at this location for around 30 years. Today I witnessed a very near miss between a car travelling south towards Taunton and a van travelling North towards Plainsfield. The van swerved across the road directly into the path of the car containing school children. It was very close and the evasive action by the car driver avoided a potentially catastrophic accident. After 30 years I think it deserves more than a flood sign to avoid what will obviously lead to a major incident ar some point. I am raising this as a matter of urgency.

Incredible amounts of mud left on road all the way fromAley to the A39 at Keenthorne., 13th October
Incredibly large amounts of mud left on road by tractors taking loads to Swang Farm Bio Digesters. Given the huge subsidies being given to this enterprise road cleaning should be a mandatory condition of such a grant. The enhanced payments to local land owners planting sweet corn for this purpose should also share some of the responsibility for the blocking of the roadside drains. I am raising this issues as school busses and Mini busses use this route every day. I dont want to be the one who failed to flag up this in the event of a tragedy.
